What is RankingArticles?
An AI SEO and GEO autopilot. It researches keywords, plans content, writes articles, fact-checks every claim and number, publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Wix, and tracks rankings in Google and in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini answers.
Is it really free?
Yes. Writing, fact-checking, publishing, reports, the API and team seats are free. Paid live-data add-ons are coming soon and will be charged at our exact cost from a prepaid balance.
What costs money?
Nothing today. Coming soon, at our exact cost: live AI-answer checks (about $0.01 each), live Google rank checks (about $0.002 per keyword per day), live SERP research (about $0.001 per search) and DataForSEO keyword data. Prices are estimates until confirmed with each vendor.
What happens when my balance runs out?
Once add-ons are live: live checks pause and the app falls back to free sources. You are never charged without balance.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign up with email and a password.
How does the fact-check gate work?
After writing, a separate verifier extracts every claim and checks it against the research sources and your brand fact sheet. A deterministic guard also checks that every number appears in a source. Unsupported statements are rewritten or removed; if any remain, the article is blocked from publishing.
Can I publish an article the gate blocked?
Only a workspace owner can override the gate, with a written reason that is logged. We don't recommend it.
Which CMSs can it publish to?
WordPress through our free plugin. Webflow, Shopify and Wix are in beta. For anything else, choose Other and copy the article out.
Does the WordPress plugin work with Yoast or Rank Math?
Yes. The plugin fills Yoast or Rank Math meta fields when they are installed, adds JSON-LD schema and sets the featured image.
What is GEO?
Generative engine optimisation: being named and cited in AI answers. The GEO optimiser, llms.txt and AI-crawler log work today. Tracking whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini mention you is in preview with demo data until the live engines are connected.
How often are AI answers checked?
Weekly, once the live engines are connected. Today the checks are a preview with demo answers.
What does the GEO optimiser change?
It rewrites an article to pass a seven-point checklist (answer-first intro, a definition sentence, quotable stats with sources, FAQ, lists, brand context, freshness) using only facts already in the article or its sources, then re-runs the fact check and QA.
What is llms.txt?
A plain-text map of your key pages for AI crawlers. We generate it from your pages and published articles; with the WordPress plugin we publish it at /llms.txt for you.
Can it refresh old articles?
Yes: a refresh rewrites a page in place at the same URL. Spotting decaying pages needs Search Console, which is coming soon; until then the Refresh tab shows demo data.
Does it track Google rankings?
Rank tracking is in preview with demo data. Live daily positions (at cost) and free Search Console positions are coming soon.
Does it support Indian languages?
Indian-language writing is built but switched off at launch. Articles are in English and other major languages today.
Is there an API?
Yes. A REST API and an MCP server let you list sites, write and publish articles, and read AI-answer visibility. Create a key under API & MCP.
Can I invite my team?
Yes, up to five seats on the Free plan, as owner, admin, editor or viewer.
What emails will I get?
A welcome email, password resets, invites and payment receipts. Article-published notices are on by default and the weekly digest is opt-in; both have an unsubscribe link.
Does it send outreach emails for backlinks?
No. It drafts pitches for backlink opportunities and you send them yourself. Finding live opportunities is in preview with demo data.
